We travel, collaborate with local communities to create menus and products, and document the stories of masters and their living traditions.

OUR PROJECT
This is our communication initiative dedicated to preserving, continuing, and evolving stories of culture, lifestyle, and wisdom connected to food. These projects are created both through collaborations with various brands and through our own independent works. We hope they will benefit future generations, inspire others, and serve as a living archive of knowledge to be passed down from generation to generation.
We collaborated with Khao Thammachat, a rice brand based in Phan District, Chiang Rai, to tell the story of a group of rice growers who believe that “good rice must come from the field.”
This project took shape as a feature-length documentary film, capturing the collaborative effort of the Samarnmit farming community — from cultivation, care, and harvesting to milling and marketing at a small community rice mill located at the heart of their village.
In addition to the documentary, we are also preparing a Photo Book that portrays the idea of growing good rice in the way that best suits each land.
We hope both works will serve as a source of inspiration and a ripple of change, proving the strength and spirit of ordinary people who believe that transformation can begin with just a single grain of rice under the name Khao Thammachat.

The toddy palm masters of Sukhothai are fading away…
This is why we created this project — to document and preserve the stories of the last toddy palm artisans of Sukhothai.
As the crisis unfolds, these masters continue to uphold their unique traditional methods, the origin of Sukhothai’s signature flavor “Toddy Palm Sugar with the Scent of Wood Smoke.”
In this project, we began with field research and data collection, which later led to the development of various toddy palm sugar products.
The knowledge gathered through our collaboration with the villagers of Ban Pom community, Khiri Mat District, Sukhothai, became the foundation for creating a Photo Book a work we hope will both inspire people to understand toddy palm sugar more deeply and serve as a practical guide for future generations, as the masters of today slowly disappear with time.
